Marper Farm
Trinidad and Tobago · East Trinidad (Sangre Grande district) draft
Marper Farm, established in 1938 in east Trinidad by F.J. Pound on land selected for its heavy witches' broom infection, planted out roughly 2,000 clones from Pound's Upper Amazon expeditions. The clones at Marper became the parental base of the Trinidad Selected Hybrids (TSH) breeding programme and a main source of accessions for the ICGT, and the surviving original trees remain a reference for verifying clone identity.
