The Saint Lucia Island Growers Programme, launched in 2008 by the Rabot Estate in Soufrière, brings together more than 50 smallholder cacao farms across Saint Lucia. Member farms sell wet beans to the central Rabot Estate fermentary at a guaranteed premium, where post-harvest processing is consolidated to fine-flavour standard.
